Founded by Johanna ( Hanna Q )in 2013 Hanna Q Dance Company has been performing her original works in and out, of the NYC area. The Swedish born and raised Artistic Director and Choreographer Johanna LjungQvist- Brinson draws inspiration from the forces of nature and uses its elements to create dynamic narratives through movement. Choreographing about emotional and other issues in life she connects with the audience own feeling or thoughts.
Hanna Q's mission is also to expand the company regarding her repertoire and quality of work. While the company has already been performing at the professional caliber for years, she wishes to be able to have a continuity of dance creation through rehearsing each week, year-round. This would help to keep the same dancers throughout the seasons and exponentially increase the quality of work being produced.
All of this of course requires money for the studio, venues, dancers, and other logistics.
