Here at Step in Step Dance Studio we believe through dance education students will develop coordination, concentration and flexibility all while building self-confidence. Step in Step opened its doors in 1989.
We are located at 8181 Mission Gorge Road, San Diego CA 92120.
Our studio is equipped with full mirrors, dressing room, and a professionally raised sprung floor with Marley covering.
Our program accepts students starting at age 4. Students are placed by the teachers according to their age, level, and previous training.
Instruction in these classes covers proper terminology, dance techniques and musicality.
Each class will learn one or more routines to be performed in our Spring Dance Concert.

A one hour combo class that is fun, inspiring, and a creative way to begin your journey in dance.
This class helps to teach coordination, rhythm, class structure, basic dance techniques and choreography.
They will experience the magic of movement!
Combination Ages 6-7: Tap, Ballet & Jazz At this age we offer a one hour combo class of tap and alternating ballet & jazz each week.
Tap is challenging and fun with its rhythm's.
Ballet is the backbone to all forms of dance.
Jazz will let them find their own style as they move to the music.
This class helps to teach coordination, rhythm, class structure, basic dance techniques and choreography.

Bonnie Crawley - Owner: Bonnie was born in Akron, Ohio where she was first introduced to dance by her stepfather Bill Cassidy, owner of twelve dance studios around Alliance, Ohio.
By the age of 18 she was living in New York City, dancing on Broadway in the "The Music Man".
Following her appearance on Broadway, she went on to become a June Taylor dancer on the Jackie Gleason Show while also spending time dancing in Monte Carlo and throughout the U.S. In 1961 she married Tom Ratzin with whom she had two children, Mark and Lisa.
