I was a college student at Southeastern Louisiana University when I decided to open the studio.
While in college continuing my studies, A Touch of Class quickly began to expand.
As time went by, I realized I had already accomplished my dream of working with kids everyday and ALWAYS having dance as a part of my life.
In later years, my daughter Taylor, like me, also developed a love for the world of dance and children.
She began traveling the world learning various types of dance instruction and honing her craft.
While in college continuing my studies, A Touch of Class quickly began to expand.

Our upper school program is designed for students 6 and up.
The program emphasizes a ballet based dance foundation.
At this level, students are allowed to add jazz and lyrical technique classes.
The upper school program offers an unprecedented opportunity for students to experience the highest standard of ballet through numerous venues and teachers.
ATOC we begin installing strong technique and the language of dance in the upper school program to prepare those dancers that want to move on to our intensive program (Company).

Our Daycare Dance Program is a great way to introduce your child to the art of dance while at their regular daycare center.
Our instructors go to the daycare center and teach a weekly ballet class.
These students will also participate in our annual spring recital.
Music, movement, balance and the basic dance steps are introduced in a fun, friendly and positive manner.
These classes offer development in coordination, musical awareness, and listening skills while helping students implement their natural creativity in a stress free environment.
