Spirit of Dance Company is a Dance Studio located in Cartersville, GA. It was founded in 2000 by Ms. Tanecia Weems. We offer dance instruction in a number of dance disciplines, including: Ballet, Tap, Lyrical/Contemporary, Jazz, Praise, Hip-Hop, and Tumble. We also specialize in choreographing special dances for events such as Quinceaneras and Bat Mitzvah's.
Along with classes at the studio, Spirit of Dance Company also hosts Church Dance Programs, Creative Movement, Dance, and After School Dance programs at multiple Daycare and Elementary Schools. Ms. Tanecia received her training in Atlanta, GA at Atlanta Ballet, Gotta Dance Company, and Dancical Productions. She teaches all level classes for children and adults in all disciplines offered at Spirit of Dance Company (Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Jazz, Praise, Hip Hop, Beginner's tumble).

What to wear: Dancers can wear whatever is comfortable to move in.
If you'd like to put on leotard and tights to have some "normalcy" during this time, feel free!
If you want to wear yoga pants and a t-shirt, that is fine too.
Please avoid super short shorts (because we can see you at home) and baggy pants (because we can't offer any corrections without seeing your legs).
Typical dance shoes are best.
Ballet classes: find something to use as a barre such as a wall, counter, or chair.
Ballet barres are traditionally 42-44 off the ground.
