At the Dance Attic we value every student-young and old, beginners and advanced students alike. It is our aim to offer a quality dance education to all of our students. We believe that a good foundation in ballet and jazz technique is essential to all other styles of dance. Therefore all of our dancers are required to take these classes. Performance is also an integral part of a good dance education.
We provide performance opportunities throughout the year in class, in the community, at competitions, and a year-end recital. It is our goal to provide a nurturing and positive environment for every dancer to learn to dance, build self-esteem, and make memories that will last a lifetime. All TDA Dancers are urged to take advantage of these guest artists coming in and teaching different styles.
It is such a great opportunity for dancers to be taught by different artists and be pushed to go outside of their comfort zone.
We welcome these classes to the general public as well so please, email us at info@thedanceattic.com so we can help you get registered for the appropriate classes.
A native of Greenville, North Carolina, Kennedy Hill received her BFA in Dance Education from East Carolina University.

Our recreational dancers also get the opportunity to compete in one competition each year.
We feel that this is a great opportunity for all of our dancers to experience the competition world and have the chance to perform!
Our rec classes have taken home top honors as well.
We have won top awards, including highest score of the day, as well as choreography and judges awards.

Ballet/Jazz: an hour long class that is designed to continue the basics of ballet as well as introduce jazz technique to the second year dancer.
Combo ballet/tap/jazz: a 1 1/2 or 2 hour class designed to introduce the young dancer to several styles of dance while building a good foundation of basics for future dance education.
You may also choose to take just ballet and jazz if you wish.
Combo Hip Hop: a 45 minute class introducing the style of Hip Hop utilizing age appropriate music and movement.
Combo ballet/tap/jazz: a 1 1/2 or 2 hour class designed to introduce the young dancer to several styles of dance while building a good foundation of basics for future dance education.
You may also choose to take just ballet and jazz if you wish.
