As SDC continued to grow, expansion was necessary.
In the summer of 2010, SDC moved into a newly renovated 8,000 square foot facility that could accommodate the pressing demand of the dance community.
With dancers traveling in from Pennsylvania and 7 different counties in Maryland, the expanded space and class load was necessary.
The studios were all built with professional raised flooring and covered with marley.
Professional ballet barres were installed as well as stereo surround sound.
Viewing windows were installed for each studio.

Savage Dance Company is pleased to offer students of all ages and abilities classes in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Pop n' Lock, Breakin', Pointe, Modern, Musical Theatre, Modeling, Creative Movement, Gymnastics and Basic Tumbling within one facility.
In addition, SDC is also pleased to offer private vocal instruction, acting, resume building, composition and college prep sessions for those interested in furthering their education.

Our jazz classes enrich and extend students' technical skills through center and progression work.
Skills such as extension work, leaps and turns are incorporated into choreographed routines which challenge the dancers' jazz and memory skills.
For the older dancer, the jazz class is coupled with lyrical moves and choreography that naturally utilize and extend their jazz and ballet technique.
All tap classes build on rhythm and musicality.
We vary our tap instructors to include the old New York/Broadway style of tap and presentation with the current trends of rhythm, hoofin' and acappella tap.
