If your child loves flipping through your house and is always upside down, acrobatics is the class for them!
Acrobatics uses and develops skills such as strength, balance, flexibility, and gross motor coordination, to perform difficult and intricate tricks.
The beginner acrobat would start by learning the basics such as forward rolls, back bends, and cartwheels.
As the child continues to progress these skills develop into more difficult skills such as back walkovers and front limbers.
Eventually, a child who reaches an advanced level of acrobatics is able to perform tricks such as a back handspring or a side aerial.

Before joining the Competitive Team students must first attend an audition.
This audition is not meant to be intimidating to the students, however it is meant to assess their readiness, work-ethic, and ability to follow direction.
The only way for this audition to be bypassed is if a student receives an invitation from a Dance Evolution faculty member.
If a student receives this invitation then they may register for the Jumpstart without attending the audition.
Invitations cannot be requested from students and will be given to students who show outstanding ability in their classes at Dance Evolution.
