Furthermore, we invest in the professional development and job satisfaction of our teachers and staff and work to finesse the programming to suit the needs and requests of our dance family.Passionate performance: we are committed - heart, body, and mind - to continuous forward momentum and innovative programming, and this drives us to energize, engage, and empower our students to take risks, reach beyond existing boundaries, experiment and find new ways to grow.
Services
Kathy started dancing seriously in high school and has continued to take classes and had the opportunity to perform through various studios in Austin.
Through the years, dance has proven a great way for her to stay fit after having 4 kids and maintaining a busy lifestyle.
She has successfully pioneered multiple businesses from start up to maturity including Texas' largest household staffing service, Mom's Best Friend, which she founded in 1994.
She and her husband, Stuart, now run this together, along with the College Sitters & Tutors Barton Springs franchise.
For ballet classes, we have placement opportunities available for a Dance Spot ballet teacher to assess the student and ensure he/she is placed in the appropriate level class.
For other classes, we recommend that dancers trial a class that seems like the correct age/level class, and the instructor can evaluate the student in class to ensure he/she is in the correct class.
If not, the teacher will recommend which alternate class is most appropriate for that student.
We can take care of your needs for any shoes or dance attire needed for classes, excluding Pointe shoes.
The Dancers & Dreamers program is designed expressly for imaginative 2-5 year old princesses, pirates, super heroes, movie stars and fairies.
Here dreams are realized as focus, practice and imagination result in confidence and achievement.
Each class encourages students to champion their inherent talents, identify who they believe they can be, and create a memorable performance of which they can be proud.
Designed to meet the unique needs of our youngest students, each will enter a world of limitless imagination and creativity while learning dance vocabulary and techniques with set goals and specific curriculum.
Registration fee: Fall/Spring registration fee is $50 and must be paid with 1st month's tuition BEFORE the student's first 1st class.
Student will be unenrolled if this has not been paid before the 1st day of class.
Tuition policies: Tuition is due by the 1st of each month.
Tuition remains the same whether it's a long (5 week) or short (3 week) month and regardless of absences, vacations or holidays.
There are no makeup classes for holidays, as they are built into the total tuition cost.
Tuition Payment Options: You may set up your account by linking your checking or savings account to auto-draft on the 1st of the month (ACH) or by credit/debit card which will be auto-charged on the 1st of the month.
Fine Arts Club is a diverse, all inclusive program for children ages 3-5 (must be potty trained) with a fun and active curriculum which allows children to develop social skills and talents at a young age.
Children will participate in dance, yoga, and fitness classes while enjoying music, art and drama lessons.
