Velocity Dance Center
Velocity Dance Center has implemented measures to ensure the safety of our dancers and instructors. The health and safety of everyone who enters our doors is our top priority. To keep a safe studio environment, we ask all students and staff who are ill to stay home, have put in place frequent cleaning and disinfecting policies, follow the current mask-wearing ordinance and social distancing rules.

Keep the dancers in your life moving and grooving during these challenging times with our hybrid dance classes. These dance classes are fun, energetic, and will help students continue learning and refining their technique when they can't be in the studio. Starting with children as young as two years old and into their teens, we teach our students the beauty, joy, and art of dance.

We offer a variety of different styles, and we accommodate children of varying skill levels. Our mission is to provide a well-rounded dance experience to your child and all dancers who enter our doors. There's nothing we love more than watching our students express themselves through dance and seeing their abilities flourish.
Services
Our passion for dance and our dedication to teaching a younger generation of dancers is part of what sets Velocity Dance Center apart from other dance studios.
Our dance studio is lead by teachers who love dance and have spent their lives mastering different dance styles.
All our teachers use their dance experience to guide students through the different types of dance we offer.
To us, dancing is not just a series of steps that your child will learn.
In our dance studio, the art of dance also helps teach students focus, creativity, and discipline, all of which are essential life skills.

Velocity Dance Center has designed this class for toddlers who love to move.
In a fun environment, your child will develop fine and gross motor skills through the use of music, dance, and finger play.
Developed by master teacher Beverly Spell and child psychologist Dr. Annie Spell, Leap 'N Learn is an early childhood dance program that teaches ballet to children.
This program capitalizes on a child's naturally occurring cognitive and neural development and encourages pretend play in a positive, nurturing environment.
If your child loves to move, you will find this class a perfect opportunity.
Alongside instructors, parents participate with their child as we use music, dance, and finger play to develop fine and gross motor skills.
For many students, this class is one of the first activities they participate in independently.
This 30-minute dance class focuses on using music along with creative play, center exercises, and floor movements to continue your child's fine and gross motor skill development.
Instructors will introduce ballet basics and terminology.
Focusing on rhythm, body awareness, and simple choreography, our hippity-hop dance classes for kids are high energy and fun.
They will learn body isolations, kicks, and jumps as they prepare for the following hip-hop classes that begin around age six.
This program is a continuation of the Toddler Leap 'N Learn dance class and ends when a child turns eight years old.
Dr. Annie Spell (child psychologist) and Beverly Spell (master teacher) developed this nationally-recognized program that introduces children to ballet.
