Bright Star World Dance
We are currently OPEN for small group classes, solo rehearsals, private lessons, and teaching online classes. In addition to our regular classes, we have a variety of special events of all different genres. Our Dedicated Dancers program provides a monthly practice space subscription to help you get in the studio with no distractions! Folding chairs, tea tables, floor cushions, yoga mats, mood lighting, and stage lighting are available for you to use.

Bright Star World Dance was founded by Rosa Noreen and Janet Taylor in 2010 to provide a beautiful, clean space where dancers of all different styles can feel at home.
The dance studio is centrally located in Portland's Arts District, at the corner of High Street and Spring Street, above the Little Tap House restaurant.

Students who have mastered the skills in Level 1 are welcome to move into Level 2. In this class, we will build on the fundamentals learned in Level 1, adding layering, traveling steps, new movements and finger cymbal patterns.
Rosa Noreen, one of the co-founders of Bright Star World Dance, is a professional belly dancer who has taught classes locally for many years, as well as sharing her love of belly dance through workshops and performances nationwide.
Rosa loves seeing the "I can do this!" light appear in the eyes of a student.
She provides a warm and supportive environment for people of all fitness levels and genders, ages 14+.
Rosa's Grace Academy helps dancers add depth and dimension to their work so they grow in confidence to take their places on stage and in the world.
Parking is available at neighborhood street meters and in nearby parking garages.
Some teachers offer Park 'n' Shop stickers which are good at the Spring Street Garage next to the Civic Center, in the Midtown Parking Lot at 44 Free Street, and at the Gateway Garage at 181 High Street next to the Eastland Hotel.
