Since 1976 when we began as Jo Ann's to today as Dance Infinity we combine the excellence of dance education with a fun filled positive learning environment. With the generations that have passed through the studio, you can see the impact that we have made in and beyond the classroom. We will continue to provide this excellent service. Services
Gwen Melo, a San Antonio native, began dancing at the age of three and has been teaching dance for over twenty-five years.
Gwen studied dance at Texas Woman's University.
Her training included classical ballet, modern dance, jazz, and tap.
While at TWU, Gwen performed in many dance productions and was a member of the TWU Folk Dance Company.
After college Gwen continued her dance education with Ballet Austin.
Gwen began teaching for Jo Ann Neal Dance Studio in 1993 and is now the owner of DISA.
As a member of the Texas Association Teachers of Dancing Inc. (TATD) since 2005, with a certification in ballet, Gwen is very passionate about developmentally appropriate teaching practices for young children.

Company members are provided with performance opportunities, as well as participating in convention classes to help broaden their world of dance.
