In the 2021-2022 season, we at KDS celebrated 30 years of inspiring and educating dancers of all ages here in western Iowa. With our dynamic and dedicated staff, two studio locations, and dozens of class styles available, we pride ourselves in offering a customizable experience to grow each of our students' abilities and passion for dance. With a heart dedicated to her students and her craft, Kerri Jo (Richardson) Watts opened the doors to her dance studio in the fall of 1992.
Mali is a KDS alumni who is thrilled to be back teaching.
Alexis studied tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, lyrical, & poms for 16 years.
Alexis was a member of the KDS Take Flight Competition team and holds 2 National titles.
Alexis also participated in dance team at Abraham Lincoln high school while attending and has several top 5 placements with that team as well.

Once again Kerri's Dance Studio will be offering a variety of dance and tumbling camps over the summer for dancers of all ages.
This year we will also be offering a one day dance intensive.
Similar to a dance day camp there will be classes offered in all genres for all ages from two of the industries most respected choreographers and master class teachers Angie Sellers and Sarah Jo Fazio.

All single day summer camps are limited in size so pre registration is recommended.

The KDS competition team will be holding our annual auditions in late May at the studio.
Following the schedule listed in this packet, dancers will come in and be observed through a teacher led ballet class and learn a short combination for various styles of dance.

KDS recomends the Bloch or Balera brands.
Junior and Intermediate Pom students should have the gore jazz boot in black.
The black Capezio Free Form shoe is also acceptable.
Intermediate through Advanced Jazz students should have the black Bloch pulse jazz shoes.
Capezio Free Form and Gore jazz boot is also acceptable.
Intermediate through Advanced Tap dancers need the gore style jazz tap in black.
