This is for our leveled Ballet classes, PrePrimary classes and Combo 3-4, Combo 4-5 and Combo 5-6 classes! What: A Red Door Nutcracker- classes will be performing excerpts from the holiday favorite, The Nutcracker.

Red Door Dance Academy opened in the Summer of 2010 to bring professional teaching to the Wylie and surrounding areas for children of all ages and abilities.
Starting in their first year with a small, but dedicated group of students Red Door, under the direction of Marisa Mailhes, began its mission to inspire children to move, dance and be creative.
The studio has now grown tremendously and continues to grow each year.
Red Door opened the doors to its brand new facility in October of 2015.
This new facility provides a beautiful and creative space for dancers to take class.

Age Appropriate Music & Costumes- All of our classes, recital music, and recital costumes are absolutely age appropriate to show off your little dancer in the best way possible!.

At Red Door Dance Academy our goal is to make every student excited about dance starting from their very first class.
The following guide is designed to help parents know what to expect in dance class and answer several common questions.
This is especially helpful for our dancers ages 12 months through 7 years old.
Dancers will change into ballet shoes in the dance room and will not come back to the lobby to get their things from parents.
In order to maintain the integrity and cleanliness of our custom dance floors no street shoes are allowed in the dance room.
The following guide is designed to help parents know what to expect in dance class and answer several common questions.
This is especially helpful for our dancers ages 12 months through 7 years old.

Red Door Dance provides an in-house student training program for students who are interested in becoming dance teachers, sharing their love of dance with younger kids and want to be more involved in the studio and their dance education.
Students will work side by side with a Red Door Dance Instructor in weekly classes as Student Teacher Assistants.
Students will be selected after reviewing their application, work ethic, and prior history at the studio.
Our program currently runs from September through May and we occasionally have spots for helpers during summer classes/camps.

YPAD, Youth Protection Advocates in Dance, is an organization dedicated to keeping dance students happy, healthy and safe in all dance environments.
I have always been proud of our family friendly environment and approach to everything we do here at Red Door and believe the dance studio should be a safe place for all our dancers.
I made the decision to join the YPAD community because it mirrors what I set out to create here at our studio and I believe continued education and training is so important!
