Mainstream Dance Academy is the premier dance instruction facility of Mount Laurel, NJ for kids ages 2.5 to Teen. We use an exciting curriculum that focuses on positive reinforcement to help every dancer find confidence, explore their creativity and build the proper skills required to successfully grow as a dancer year after year. Your child will radiate positivity as they learn to dance at our dance studio.
Mainstream Dance Academy has 4 Competition Teams that range from ages 6 through Teen. Our competition teams have won various awards at local competitions and have already left their mark on the competition circuit. Miss Julie's teams set themselves apart from the rest with innovative choreography, costuming, and technique.

At our studio, we believe in making connections, building friendships, instilling confidence, and most of all, falling in love with dance.
We are a boutique style studio, and we don't allow more than 10-15 students per class.
We want our teachers and staff to know you and your child by name.
We want your child to feel welcome, important, and proud of themselves after each and every class.

Mainstream Dance Academy offers professional instruction for all dance levels, all ages, and for both boys and girls!
Our season runs from the beginning of September through the end of May.
As a rule, registration is cut off toward the end of December (aside from Toddler classes) to allow our teachers to start placing students in "recital spots, " as well as to allow for costume ordering.
Any registration completed after December will be accepted at the discretion of the teacher, class size, and director approval.

Families will have the leisure to pay tuition and costume installments prior to the due date with payment of choice.
On the due date, the balance that is left on your account will be ran with the credit card on file.
Late Fees: Any credit card transactions that comes back with insufficient funds will be charged a late fee of $35.00 if it is not corrected by the end of the day the transaction was due/ran.

For the more serious and advanced dancers, we offer students an opportunity to perform with one of our 4 Competition Teams.
The Mini, Petite, Paragon, and Elite Competition teams attend 2 conventions a year and 3 regional competitions, sometimes more.
A sincere commitment to dance and the competition team is expected of members, who are selected by audition and required to attend special competition classes.
Dancers are required to attend ballet, turns and leaps, Acrobatic Arts and 3 elective classes, as well as additional rehearsals if necessary.

A party at MDA features dance and/or fitness games, a dance routine choreographed just for the birthday girl/boy, as well as time for pizza, cake, or whatever you would like to serve.
We provide set up, clean up, and all the fun.
