Fascinating Rhythm Dance School was founded in 1977 in San Francisco by Marge Gabbert. Marge started dancing at age 4 in tap and ballet. Inspired by the Disco Fever craze, later pursued mainstream Ballroom and Latin dance. After taking a break from dance to get a BFA from California College of the Arts (formerly CCAC), and studying abroad in India, continued her love of dance and movement.

Achieving awards in the Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels she discovered her love of teaching. She is a member of the Society of Dance Artists. She has taught and performed in nightclubs, for corporate events, Black and White Ball, on stage in "Gala Nights in Buenos Aires" and taught the late Robin Williams for his role in the movie Bicentennial Man.
Services
Whether it be a slow or fast song we will teach a routine to fit your unique personalities.
You may want a formal traditional dance, something fun, or a combination of both, we will create it.
You will need a minimum of four hours to learn and memorize the choreography, but really you should plan on eight to twelve hours.
It all depends on the difficulty of the routine and how much time you have to practice.
So plan in advance.
Try not to wait until the last minute, it becomes too stressful, and we want it to be fun!
The private lessons are in our private/home studio at 28 Prague Street, in a quiet neighborhood in the Excelsior Terrace district in San Francisco.
We are happy to welcome to our staff, Mr. Larry Klingenberg.
Larry brings 15 years of experience and a simple, clear, down to earth method of instruction.
