Welcome to Faith Dance Studio, dance classes for all ages and ability levels. Our goal is to give every dancer a chance to experience the art of dancing in a Christian environment. We encourage and offer opportunities for each dancer to express their individual talents in class and performance opportunities. Through these experiences, our dancers will develop self-disciplined, confidence, endurance, strength, and a feeling of pride in their accomplishment.
Faith Dance Studio, has gathered gifted instructors with various backgrounds in performance and instruction to provide students with extensive professional dance training. We are committed to instill the virtues of consistent and disciplined study. The academy teaching staff includes Royal Academy of Dance Certified Teachers, Dance Masters of America members, internationally recognized ballet teachers, pilates certified instructors, lead dancers in tour productions such as "West Side Story".
They are selected for their positive approach to teaching and their value as inspirational role models.

Services
Maggie founder and owner of Faith Dance Studio opened in 2014 with the intent of combining her passion for faith, family, dance, and music and offering it up to the community in one faith based, professional dance academy.
She attended Stephen F Austin State University, receiving a BBA in Business Management and Second Major in Modern Languages, and later received her MBA in Business.
Her and her husband Alejandro, attend Church on the Rock, Katy.
Together they have two daughters.
Maggie currently directs and leads Church on the Rock's Performing Dance Ministry.

This one hour class combines creative movement, basic techniques, and various dance combinations to increase memory and discipline.
Beginning tap is introduced in this class as well.
Ages 4 - 17 Basic tap steps and creative movement.
Tap is a musical instrument of dance.
Dancers will learn to make music with their feet, and in turn enhance rhythm and dynamics.
Tap is highly recommended for all students who wish to to pursue dancing extensively.
Ages 5 and up.
Beg./Int Hip hop is a fusion of jazz and modern, danced to contemporary music with an "MTV" flair.

The class schedule must be approved by Mrs. Maggie or the Office Manager.

Students wishing to participate in a more intensive dance program to gain flexibility, strength and technique are encouraged to audition.

In order to keep costs down, the costume for this performance is also used in the Spring Recital.
Holiday performance will be conducted at Church on the Rock Katy; Dates and times are usually a weekend in December.
Performance is open to all parents and family members to come see their child perform.

In keeping with the traditions of classical ballet, girls must wear their hair fastened securely in a bun on the back of their head for all classes.
Boy's hair must be neatly combed.
Leg warmers and other extraneous pieces of attire are not allowed in class without prior permission from their instructor.
Please do not purchase velcro tap shoes.
Instead, purchase the regular tap shoes, take out the ribbon, and sew elastic through the holes.
If your child comes to class not in the appropriate attire they may be asked to leave until they can return in appropriate attire.
