TAME Dance Company is a group of hand selected, elite movement artists who are ready to take their stage experience to the next level. Company members at TAME are chosen by audition only, then separated into smaller groups based on level and age. Our Company dancers train a minimum of 6 hours per week in technique classes in addition to their rehearsals.
We believe a strong foundation in technique lends knowledge that will inform artistic movement and choreography learned from our esteemed faculty and guest choreographers. TAME Dance Company presents work throughout Florida, through local performances and competitions. While TAME offers the opportunity for these students to work in a competitive company, our goal is not only to win awards, but more importantly to create experienced artists.
The performance opportunities offered not only cultivate the students' technique but also what they, as individuals, have to express. We also offer opportunities for our company members to take exclusive Master Classes with renowned Guest Artists from all over the world, as well as the chance to perform and work with professional companies each season.

TAME Dance Academy's curriculum is designed to teach a young dancer how to behave in a professional environment.
The training is conservatory-style, with a heightened focus on technique and artistry.
Daily instruction in ballet, jazz and contemporary technique are required to provide stronger foundations for the supplemental courses in hip-hop, tap and acrobatics.
In the studio, each student is taught how to show proper respect to any instructor and how to behave in differing classroom situations.
The training is conservatory-style, with a heightened focus on technique and artistry.

Within our Elite Membership, TAME Dance Academy offers a unique opportunity for advanced dancers (Levels IV and V) to specify their training to suit their individual goals.
We have created two tracks of study, Conservatory and Competitive, which include styles and techniques catered to each individual artist.
Both tracks include a minimum of nine classes; five mandatory and four elective, to round out each dancer's course of study.
Additional classes may be added upon dancer's request and guardian approval.

Each studio is 1200 square feet, with expansive 30 foot ceilings, warmly surrounded by adjustable lighting.
We offer sprung marley floors, custom made steel ballet barres and a triple filtered water cooler to keep our dancers hydrated.
To witness our state of the art facility, student body and pre-professional dance training, you can stop by any time Monday through Thursday 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Friday 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM, or Saturday 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM.
