We are a family oriented dance facility located in the downtown Waukesha area. The studio was established in 1983 as a syndicate of the original Pat Kellar Dance Studio (1961-2017) of Milwaukee, WI. Kellar Dance Studio is owned and under the direction of Sandra Kellar (Miss Sandy). The studio's main focus is providing a technique based dance curriculum in a nurturing and educational environment.
A variety of dance styles are offered and taught by professional instructors. We welcome dancers of all abilities and teach students 3 years to senior citizens the art of dance. Duration: 30 minutes or 45 minutes. This is an introduction to Ballet. Students learn ballet terminology, gross motor skills, ballet technique and how to behave in a structured learning environment.
Students learn barre exercises, across the floor movements, and a choreographed dance. 15 minutes of basic tumbling can be added to this class upon request. Ages 5-8 years. Students are introduced to a structured ballet class and warmup.
