Every member of our staff who may be primarily responsible for students earns certification in both CPR and First Aid. Above all, the safety of every dancer who comes through our doors is our top priority. We invest in training our teachers to ensure the safety and success of our students. Each studio room contains first aid supplies. Every member of our staff earns YPAD Certification to ensure the safety and wellness of their students in class.
The Pointe is the first and only dance studio in Iowa to earn this certification. Dance is an unregulated industry. There are no legal requirements for dance teachers to be background checked, certified, or trained.
