Competition Dancing Challenge yourself to be the best you can be, and enjoy dance as a sport. We would be honored for you to choose our company as your source for ballroom and latin dance lessons. Taylor's signature teaching style is perfect for anyone looking to enhance their life through dance. Ken A. says: Jennifer was awesome to work with. She was very patient with us beginners and helped make everything easier.

We are definitely coming back to Jennifer and highly recommend private lessons with her for a great learning experience! Margaret N. says: We have worked with both Jennifer and Taylor and we love them both! They have a great concept of what we can do to look better on the dance floor, they are both patient, positive and motivating. I also love the "dance notes" I get in my e-mail following my lesson, so I can remember what we worked on when we are practicing.

The best way to find out if Jennifer is a good match for your goals and learning style is to take the New Student Special and find out for yourself what so many have already discovered, you too can learn to be a good or even a great dancer.
But in the mean time feel free to find out a bit more about Jennifer below.
I have loved dancing from a very early age.
I was introduced to dancing by Miller's Dance Studio in Aurora, CO when I was 4 years old.
My first introduction to partner style dancing was by my mom, who had my brother and I dancing polka around the living room most evenings when I was a kid.
You may be a little nervous about learning to dance or taking lessons, many people are; but with the Strides Ballroom Method you will find that not only can you learn to dance but becoming a good or even great ballroom or latin dancer is completely within your reach.
Like any new skill you are trying to learn, having someone to show you the ins and outs can be extremely beneficial.
Take two other popular activities: golfing and skiing.
Certainly you could watch Tiger Woods or Phil Mickelson on television play golf or even watch a video on YouTube on how to play golf.
Most students wear comfortable clothing either business/casual or casual.
Shoes should stay on your feet.
If you can do the 'twist' on your kitchen floor and you find it easy to move without sticking to the floor your shoes will work.
Eventually you may want to consider dance shoes, but they are only needed if you are going to be taking your dance skills past the initial basics.
Please do not wear tight skirts as this will restrict your movement.
Also avoid sandles, stilletto heals, or boots; as they may look good but they are not safe for dancing.
Personal dance training (private lessons) is the perfect way to learn the dances you want to learn at your individual pace.
Whether your goal is to get by with a few patterns in one or two dances; to become a well rounded social dancer that can dance a variety of dances any where with anyone; or to be a great dancer that gets complimented often and looks like a pro when you hit the dance floor.
If you enjoy the social aspects of learning to ballroom dance, group classes are an excellent choice.
