We strive to create a culture of caring and compassionate folkloristas that respect every culture while presenting their own to the world. As a company we are dedicated to create new experiences and memories for our members along with providing the skills to become a strong dancer. We perform in many private and community events all over Southern California throughout the year, including; Knott's Berry Farm, Disneyland, and County Fairs.
Cinthia Berumen has over 20 years of experience working with children of all ages. Folklorico became her passion when she joined the Multi-Cultural Club at Moreno Valley High School in 1997. She has since then worked at various MVUSD schools and private groups. She founded her family of folkloristas, who are passionate for dance and tradition, in 2009.
She believes that a community that loves and embraces one's culture is a strong and powerful community, that is why she continues to share her love for culture through dance. Berumen Dance Company has created The Berumen Foundation to give back to the community by providing free folklorico classes twice a month.
