The Abby Lee Dance Company was once a not-for-profit organization, formed 35 years ago to afford promising and dedicated young dancers the opportunity to study with the dance community's most distinguished dance educators and to compete against other talented young people across the country! The Abby Lee Dance Company was the resident competition team of The Maryen Lorrain Dance Studio in Pittsburgh, PA for 30 successful years.
We host open auditions near the end of our season before the annual dance concert and again, during August. All dancers must be enrolled in the complete program for their age/ability level to be eligible for the dance company. Usually competition and special choreography takes place on the weekends. NEW THIS SEASON: Intermediate Competition Team Routines for Interested Students who aren't as advanced as the season veterans.
Intermediate and advanced students may take Company Level classes with teacher approval. Solo, Duet and Trio choreography is available for interested, as well as committed students.

This beautiful spacious studio is 48ft x 42ft.
The floor is suspended on 2" x 2" foam sponges covered with a marley designed by Mikhail Baryshnikov.

Miranda Maleski started dancing, when she was 4 years old at the Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh PA.
She moved to LA in 2010 after graduating high school and has since been a top 20 contestant on season 8 of Fox's hit show So You Think You Can Dance.
Miranda's other TV appearances include ABC Family's The Fosters, ABC's The Goldbergs, Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition, CW's 'My Crazy Ex Girlfriend', Bunheads and FOX'S Glee.
She's also been apart of numerous movies such as ABC's' Love Struck the Musical' choreographed by Michael Rooney, Hallmark's 'Dear Dumb Diary', and Yeezus the Film by Kanye West.
