Havilah Dance Company is an innovative dance studio in Matthews, North Carolina that serves the Charlotte metro area. HDC offers much more than dance education to our young stars. Our award winning teachers and choreographers will welcome your child into a creative environment, where learning advanced technique is as important as building positive relationships.
We've been at this studio since it opened. Since then, we've seen this studio grow into a loving atmosphere where not only does my child learn about dance, but she's also learns about supporting and encouraging her teammates and reaching goals that she didn't think she could achieve.
I'm a dance Dad who's not entirely involved in everything that goes on at Havilah, but the two things I have to mention, are that both Brooke and Brittany and other staff there truly treasure each of their dancers and try include all of them in important parts of their routines.Everyone is special and important there. And then secondly our girls absolutely love it there.

It is a word that inspired us long before we opened our doors, and we are humbled and honored to be able to share that story with our students and community.
Years ago on a mission trip to Africa, one of our founders, Brooke Hardiman, took part in an internship at an orphanage in Kenya.
The children had very minimal material possessions and many had gone through great hardships, even in their young age.
However, despite their circumstances, the children were FULL of constant joy.
Additionally, Brooke noticed that all the children had a unique passion for dance!
