At VDA our mission is to provide dance education to everyone, whether it's fun & fitness in a recreational class or a pre-professional program. We strive to instill the love of dance and an appreciation of the arts to everyone. Renata Johnson fell in love with dance and the arts at an early age. She is trained in ballet, jazz, hip hop, modern & liturgical dance.
She is also a former majorette & cheerleader. Renata is one of the founding members of the Royal Jewels Dance Team at Southern University at New Orleans. She has been teaching dance for 20 years, and is continuing to train students, and write her legacy. Desha' Payton is a 23 year old professional dancer from Slidell, LA. She is trained in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and Ballroom dance.
Desha' is represented by the Screen Actors Guild- American Federation of Television and Radio Artist wheres he was given the opportunity to dance in films, music videos, and television. She loves to teach young ladies technique, and challenge their abilities.
