Celebrating our 46th anniversary during the 2021-2022 season, The Dance Refinery takes pride in refining the artistic talents of each of our students. Children and young adults are taught to value team work as well as personal self-expression and growth in all of our classes. Our studio is known for its experienced teachers who truly care for their students and want to see them succeed, not only as performers but also as individuals.
To help ensure our students' success and keep our studio running smoothly, we provide a parent/student handbook that familiarizes each of our families with our policies and procedures. We also use social media and publish a monthly newsletter to make our most up-to-date information readily available to all of our families.
We are located in Indianapolis, IN, and welcome students from Marion, Johnson, Morgan, and Hancock counties, including the cities of Indianapolis, Greenwood, Greenfield, Plainfield, Avon, Beech Grove, Franklin, Whiteland, Mooresville, Martinsville, Camby, and the surrounding area.

Established in 1976, The Dance Refinery is Indiana's largest and most experienced dance, gymnastics, and cheer facility offering recreational programs in all three areas as well as competitive programs for dance and gymnastics.

Lynn Herrick is the Executive Director of The Dance Refinery and has been in the business of teaching and performing for over 45 years.
Her career has included 10 years as a professional musical theater performer and choreographer, 26 years as a show choir choreographer and 30 years of judging experience with a variety of dance competitions and show choir organizations.
