Serving Geneva & the Fox Valley area since 1993 in the Little Yellow House across from DQ on Rte 38. DE is offering live in person class, along with some Zoom lessons where needed or preferred. Class size is limited and new modes of operation exist from health screening, regular hand washing, dancers arriving dressed and and ready with only necessities with them.
Lobby waiting room is closed to general parent/ sibling waiting aside from pre-school parents accompanying a registered dancer. However, DE reserves the right to ask you to wait in another part of the building or close the lobby if capacity reaches max. Dancers must be registered via the website and the program Dance Works powered by Akada. This is true even for returning dancers whose original session was extended due to the pandemic.

DancEncounter begins with pre-school students and teaches dance skills and self esteem through creative and imaginative classes that support physical, social and emotional skills and development.
For older children, teens and adults, DancEncounter's highly experienced, diverse, dedicated, and passionate instructors and the studio's flexible schedule encourages the opportunity for ongoing exploration of dance through a variety of classes and dance styles.
All students perform in annual studio performances with theater-like production that have become tradition for dancers and for their family and friends alike.
