Opened in September of 2004 in Nashville, Michigan, Step N Time Dance Studio has established itself in a small community full of artistic talent. Step N Time is owned and operated by instructor, Kimberly (Knoll) Rodriguez. Kimberly has actively been a part of the dance community for 30 years and has been teaching and choreographing since 1997. She earned her Associate in Applied Arts degree from Lansing Community College where she directed and choreographed student-produced shows and faculty shows.

Kimberly was also a member of the professional dance company at "Happendance" located in Okemos, Michigan. Since then, she has choreographed over 40 musicals and color guard shows. At Step N Time Dance Studio, we pride ourselves in being one of the most competitive education studios in the area. The direction and education of all students is a top priority at our studio.

Every aspect of each individual's dance education at Step N Time is taught/guided by Kimberly Rodriguez, managed by Ashley Leimenstoll, with the assistance of fellow dance teachers Amy Fisher, Katie Secor, Courtney Walker, Hannah Lajoye, Aly Olsen, Jennifer Parcher, Skyler Yancey, Lizzie Smith and the experience team of Timara Burd, Josey Terpening and Emily Smith.
Services
As a result of all of the impacts the pandemic had on our studio, we have had to make some changes to the billing.
Billing will be due each month on the 13th.
However, we will only have 9 months of billings for the classes, September - May.
In April, a payment of $40 will be due to cover recital costs and confirm their participation.
This payment will include 2 recital tickets, a finale Tshirt, and access to a digital copy of the recital.
For each student, you will only have to pay this one time.
With our classes in 4 week sessions, we understand attire may be a bit different, we just ask that you do your best to wear proper shoes and clothes to learn and move in.
Contact us if you need help, we can order, fit and direct you to some great options!
Ballet/Pointe: Shoes: Pink, canvas ballet slippers or pointe shoes (which can be purchased from Bottoms Up in Okemos, MI).
Attire: Leotard & tights.
Ballet skirts, leg warmers, and ballet sweaters are acceptable as well.
Remember: it is to your benefit to wear appropriate clothing so that your instructor can make proper corrections and be sure that you are using the correct muscles.
Completing the application does not automatically ensure a Choreographed Private Lesson.
All Private Lessons are given at the discretion of the administrative/teaching staff and decisions are based on the ability, effort, attendance, attitude of the student and their progress in their regular weekly classes, and most importantly, the availability of the teaching staff.
It is the responsibility of the student to retain the choreography given during rehearsals and clean up sessions.
To aid in the education process, it is encouraged to video tape at the end of each session.
