The November newsletter has been loaded. Please read it carefully for updated news. We will be taking a week off during the Thanksgiving holiday so please enjoy your time with your family. Thank you for your support of our dance and tumbling academy. We will be having in-person dance, pointe, and tumbling this coming week. We ask that you keep children home that have any symptoms (including coughing), are still RED from their schools, or are in quarantine.
We want to keep our TMDA doors open and we can only do so with everyone's full cooperation. The dance store is open Monday from 5-7 pm, Tuesday from 4:15-8:15, and Wednesday from 4:15-6:15 pm. I hope you are all excited to start dance, tumbling, and pointe this month! Everyone at TMDA is excited to welcome you! Please read the September Newsletter before your first day of classes so that we are all moving in the same direction when we start.
Please also read the "Something to Contemplate" below before looking for your child's placement.

Services
Colleen DuPlissie is the owner and lead choreographer of The Maine Dance Academy.
Founded in 1994, Colleen's vision was to spark a new appreciation for dance in the County.
Starting with 35 dancers in her first year, the academy has grown to over 300 with a growing Classical Pointe and tumbling school as well.
Colleen first received her love of dance from her mother and then competed very successfully in her high school years with her brother, Jim.
Colleen earned her major (bachelor's degree) from the University of Maine in Chemistry/Medical Technology while taking every dance class she could to fulfill her minor.

All dancers and tumblers are required to wear Black TMDA Logo'd dancewear to dance and tumbling.
These items are readily available in our dance store.
There will be no exceptions to this rule.
Dance requires discipline and part of that discipline is wearing the correct dance gear.
All outer clothing and footwear will be left in the locker room, not in the waiting area.
No dance bags will be allowed into the studios, these must be kept in the locker room under the bench or on top of the clothes racks.
