I wish to provide all students with a love and respect for the art of Dance. Here at the Alton Dance Academy, I wish to allow your child to explore dance, exercise, and learn specific techniques, in a non- competitive environment. All of our teachers and staff have extensive dance training and/or collegiate degrees in the performance arts. Come dance and join in the fun!

Welcome to the Alton Dance Academy- where dance and education meet in a fun, non-competitive environment.
A 45-minute-long creative dance class for young dancers, introducing basic dance movement through music and rhythm, the use of scarves, hoops, balls, tambourines, and more.
Dancers will begin to learn and understand basic ballet terminology.
This class prepares the young dancer for an easier time in the beginning of serious dance study.
The classical ballet terminology will be used frequently.
