Congratulations to our Litchfield Dance Company at Hollywood Dance Jamz Nationals! Not only did they do phenomenal at competition, but our Sydney Parker was awarded Intermediate Dancer of the Year and our Teen Company's "In Your Arms" was awarded Teen Battle of the Stars. LDAA will be offering small Dance Classes limited to one student per 200 sq ft per session.
Each studio has its own HVAC unit therefore the studios do not share air with other studios. Each studio is able to be ventilated with outside air through either windows or opening door to the outside. Class start and stop time will be staggered to avoid congestion coming to and from the studio. Each family will be asked to sign a "Waiver and Release of Liability" form to participate.
We have free Wi-Fi so that you can use our internet while your child dances in our spacious lobby or in our parking lot. We have great customer service Monday - Thursday our front desk is staffed from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30pm. Friday, 1:00pm - 7:30pm & Saturday, 8:30am - 3:30pm.

Whether a child pursues a career in the arts or not, a quality ballet education offers countless benefits and skills that stay with them the rest of their life.
And lucky for me, I had that right here in little ol' Pawleys Island, thanks in large part to Tom, Ilka, and the Litchfield Ballet Foundation.
Commitment to physical fitness, unwavering mental discipline, grace in front of crowds and the feeling of pure joy through art - these are just a few of the qualities that I've carried with me from my days at LDAA.

In LDC, competitive dancers must be physically fit and are usually working hard to add skills to their repertoire.
It is typical for our younger LDC dancers to be participating in 9 - 12 hours per week, and our more advanced dancers to be participating in 15 - 20 hours per week of various class instruction, rehearsals, and private lessons.
Commitment also includes warm-up and rehearsals on Saturdays, as well as other days of the week to prepare for upcoming competitions, LDAA Showcases (Fall and Winter), and various community outreach events.

PAC is a fun competitive dance experience without as heavy a scheduling demand and as large financial impact that is required of LDC.
PAC can be seen as a stepping stone to graduate into becoming a LDC member.
75% of LDC members started out as PAC members and realized that they wanted more.
PAC dance students are required to be in 3 weekly technique dance classes: 2 ballet classes and 1 jazz class.
Along with these classes they are required to participate in a 2 hour rehearsal on Friday afternoons.
