THE BALLROOM is owned and managed by Samantha Potter and Dennis Lyle.
Veteran performers whose credits include the Michael Jackson video "Thriller" and a National Ballroom Champion, Nationally Recognized Coach, and Adjudicator.
Not only have they trained some of the world's best dancers, including dancers that have appeared on Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance, but they have also taught thousands of students to be smooth, comfortable, and confident social dancers.

Group classes are the most economical way to learn how to partner dance (Ballroom Dance).
The primary goal of group classes is to teach you the steps, patterns, & movements for a variety of dances.
Our group classes are structured in a manner where in one month you can do a dance at a beginner level and then do the same dance at an intermediate level the following month.
At the completion of each class, you are emailed a video review of that evening's material so you can practice with a reference!

However, please note that the pace of learning private versus group is about 10 to 1.
