Founded in 2011 by Lezley Meyer, Ignite Dance Company trains dedicated, young dancers in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, and Street Styles. Ignite Dance Company aims to develop young dancers' self-awareness, muscle control, strength, grace and artistry. Lezley Meyer, Waco's premiere choreographer, leads her companies to the finals of Nationals' competitions annually.
Her choreography has won first place championships in Daytona Beach, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas and Kansas City. Ignite brings in Master teachers and choreographers from across the nation throughout the year. Competition members are selected by audition only. We also offer classes for those not interested in the competition scene: Pre-school Classes, Creative Movement Classes, Hip Hop, Beginner through Intermediate Ballet/Tap/Jazz/Lryical Classes.
Classes are open to Ages 18 months through 18 years.

Creative Movement : (Age 18 Months to 2 years) *Moms are encouraged to attend class, but not required.
We ask that you stay at the studio during their class.
A 45 minute class encouraging rhythm and movement while learning basic Ballet technique.
Must be potty trained.
A one hour combination of Tap/Ballet.
Junior, Yellow, Orange, Red, & Senior Company Technique and Competition classes: Ignite Competition Company Dancers only, unless invited to attend.
