Christina's Corner
At 6-months-old, my daughter couldn't stop moving - especially when we played music. She was a dancer from the beginning, just like I was and my mother before me. Even before graduating from BYU with a degree in dance, I started a dance studio with my mother, also a BYU graduate with a dance degree. Around 7 years later, because I wanted to be a full-time mother, I sold my dance studio not long after my daughter was born, but like most true dancers, I couldn't stay away.

When my daughter was approaching 3-years-old, I started to look for a dance studio so she could learn the family trade. I had a hard time finding a studio I trusted, a studio that was modest, and a studio that would teach syllabus (correct) technique to a future dancer. Plus, when you're a beginning dancer, most studios throw a teenager with little to no experience in front of the class and expect little from the kids.

I didn't want that for my daughters. I wanted my kids to learn great, clean, challenging dance from a seasoned instructor who knew how to dance herself.
Services
The Etoile Company is for beginners (but experienced) dancers who love to dance.
Etoile dancers should come with some dance technique including walking on beat, kicks, plie, pointed feet, and an awareness of their body and arms.
They learn company dances which they will perform throughout the year.
In class they will work on strengthening their technique and building upon the foundation of dance they currently have.
Etoile Company is a year-long commitment.
Students are taught what it means to be on a Company: teamwork, positive attitude, being able to support one another, coming to all classes and being on time, etc.
Combo 1 & 2 is designed for children 3-5 yrs.
Combo classes are a great way for students to experience the beginning fundamentals of ballet, jazz, and tap.
Dancers will gain flexibility, basic technique, and self confidence through repetitive motor skill, coordination, and rhythm practice.
Each combo class will perform two dances in Corner Dance Studio's end-of-year recital.
The main focus of these classes is on students having fun and enjoying dance as an everyday activity.
Each level is based on the age and skill level of each student, and the classes are formatted to build upon the technique of the previous class.
We want your family to have access to affordable, quality dance education.
We have designed our tuition for families who have multiple children in dance class and students who want to master several types of dance styles.
Tuition is based on the number of class hours per week, per family.
Discounts are given as the hours per week increase.
Recital Fee: Approximately $100 per family.
This includes 10+ tickets for the recital (there is no cost to our dance families for recital tickets, more tickets may be requested).
