We have been open for over 30 years, and hope that you will join us at our studio! We focus on building strong confidence dancers within a friendly community in Springfield. In 2017, The Dance Company business was passed on to Courtney Normand and Arianna Surprise, both alumni, and instructors of the studio. Our mission continues to be to teach dance in a relaxing, fun, and stress-free atmosphere.

Not only do our dancers have fun during class, they also learn to their fullest capabilities.!As always, everyone is welcome here.
Services
Below is a list of our weekly classes.
Class placements are determined by instructors; however, we use age as a guideline.
If there is a class that your dancer is interested in, but is out of the age range, let us know - we will observe them through classes and make adjustments as necessary.
We strongly encourage our dancers to take one (1) Ballet class or one (1) Ballet Technique class once a week to build technique and strength used in all genres of dance.
All dancers are expected to attend class in proper dress code.
Dress code allows our instructors to easily correct dancers, reduce chances of injury, notice fine details, and create a clean look to the classroom.
All ladies must wear a leotard, tights, and correct shoes for their class and hair must be pulled back from the dancer's face.
All boys must wear fitted athletic clothes that allow for free range of movement.
TDC warm ups may be worn during class warm up, barre, and stretching exercises, but must be removed after.
A value of The Dance Company is sharing our love of dance with the community.
Our students have the opportunity to participate in local community performances.
In the past, this has included Springfield's Festival of Trees, Northampton's First Night, Springfield's Thunderbirds hockey games, MGM events, and local nursing homes!
