Contemporary dance is not a specific dance technique but a combination of ballet, lyrical, modern, jazz, and unique movement sometimes referred to as "dance fusion." We offer three different types of ballet classes: Lyrical Ballet is an interpretive style of ballet. Classical Ballet is traditional and formal. Pointe is the part of classical ballet.
Tap dance is a form of dance characterized by a tapping sound that is created from the metal plates on the bottom of the dancer's shoe. This style of dance increases motor skills and rhythm. Jazz dancing is a fast paced style of dance. We incorporate Lyrical and Contemporary styles into our dance routines when possible for variety. Hip Hop is an athletic form of dance that involves isolated body movements and some beginner level gymnastics skills.
Acro is an upbeat and energetic style of dance. It combines elements of Jazz dance as well as traditional gymnastics skills to create unique and exciting choreography. Modern dance focuses on creativity and self-expression rather than on technical virtuosity.

Our classes are offered in a fun, supportive environment with dances choreographed to contemporary Christian music.
Leap of Faith Dance Company was established by Dave and Kelley Haney in 2003.
Their vision was to establish a family ministry to deliver on their Mission Statement: "Our goal is to use the talents we have been blessed with to help children have fun, learn to dance, and understand valuable life lessons through scripture and Christian music."

We have a spacious lobby with wi-fi and TV viewing systems of the studios.
You can watch your dancer in class on the monitor while you relax in our lobby.
The 4 studios have new mirrors and state-of-the-art dance floors.
Our dance floors are custom built sprung floors giving the correct amount of energy absorption and flexibility for the safety of our dancers.
We have a store in the front office to serve your dance wear needs and a costume department upstairs.

She and her husband Dave are the proud parents of 5 children, Samantha, Jeffrey, James, Matthew and Miranda.

She prayerfully chooses music and choreography for her classes.
She leads the Leap of Faith Dance Company staff with Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Him who gives me strength."
