Creating dancers with strong technical training while maintaining a love of dance. The program is age and skill appropriate and dancers advance according to their skill level and teacher recommendation. Designed for dancers with consistent ballet training; students will apply previously learned ballet and pre-pointe technique while en pointe. Dancers will be individually evaluated before joining pointe classes.

Cheryl Rains, owner and director of the Moya Strast Ballet Theater, has been teaching and coaching for 35 years.
Her training as a former student included instructors widely known from all over Russia, such as Yuli Zorov of the Bolshoi School of Ballet and the Moiseyev Ballet, Alexander Filipov of the Bolshoi Academy, Vaganova Academy, and the Eglevsky Ballet, Kaleria Fedichiva, graduate of the Kirov Ballet and Kirov Star, and many more.
Ms. Rains was accepted into the Hofstra Dance Program, and performed professionally with the Long Island Opera Company.
