Chorus Line Dance Studio has been in business since 1982 and currently operates 2 beautiful studios in Smithtown and Saint James. We offer classes in tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, theater, and kickline as well as combination classes for 3 - 6 year olds.
Our newest program - "Tiny Tots", welcomes all 2 year olds into the wonderful world of dance with fully certified instructors. Our end-of-year recitals are not recitals at all, but are usually referred to as our end-of-year "productions". This is our students' shining moment as well as the studio's. And shine they do! We, at Chorus Line Dance Studio, take tremendous pride in the level of commitment our teachers give to our students.
Many of our instructors are NYS certified educators. We continuously strive for perfection, not only in the areas of dance, but also in helping children to grow in social endeavors.

Roseann Cousin was the Executive Director and Owner of Chorus Line Dance Studios for 37 years.
She was an inspiration to all who knew her.
Her philosophy was always to provide a positive approach to dance instruction for her students using praise, encouragement and love as the greatest teaching tools.
Roseann loved the art of dance and wanted nothing more than to pass on this passion to her students.
She opened her first studio in 1982 and loved celebrating the successes, both on stage and off, of the thousands of students who joined the Chorus Line Dance Studio family from that time on.

Due to a new transition for the 2021-22 dance year, you will see that there will be no Elite Tap & Elite Ballet companies this year.
These companies were created last year to provide smaller class sizes due to the pandemic.
