Pembroke School of Performing Arts dance classes are all designed to give both recreational and aspiring dancers a strong dance foundation in a positive and exciting atmosphere. We provide students with an opportunity to learn, perform, and analyze proper dance technique, create opportunities for self-expression, and promote positive self-esteem and confidence.

Our dance classes are offered to those 18 months to adults and include acro, ballet, contemporary, creative movement, hip hop, jazz, modern, pointe, tap, and Zumba. At PSPA, we strive for a family-oriented, fun, and friendly environment with qualified and proper instruction. While we are not "focused" in a competitive nature, we do feel there are additional benefits to be gained by attending and performing outside of our community and studio events.

As such, and for those with the desire, we have initiated competition dance teams. We are very proud that our teams have consistently achieved among the highest scores in performance, technique, choreography, precision, costuming, and audience appeal, as well as individual recognition each year in both regional and national competitions since 1989.
