Atlanta Professional Dance Academy
Atlanta Professional Dance Academy (APDA) was established in 1997 in Atlanta, Georgia. It is an award winning pre-professional ballet training program led by the former principal dancer of both National Ballet of China and Atlanta Ballet Mr. Wei Dongsheng. With dancers placing at almost every major ballet competition including YAGP, World Ballet Competition, Universal Ballet Competition, and American Ballet Competition, APDA has built one of the most successful training programs for ambitious dancers.

In 2014, APDA's Jasmine Flowers appeared on shows such as NBC's America's Got Talent and CCTV's Amazing Chinese. APDA is the official dance school of T.M. Culture & Art Center, an international cultural and arts exchange connection platform. It offers exceptional and comprehensive training in Classical Ballet, Pointe, Pas De Duex as well as Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Chinese Folk Dance for age five through adult.

Each year APDA's iconic and professionally produced Dance Festival provides opportunities for all levels to perform on stage.

Atlanta Professional Dance Academy offers exceptional training for students at all levels.
Each program is designed to be both developmentally appropriate and an opportunity for growth.
Our program has a very technical foundation so that students don't progress without having the skills required in the previous level.
Students are moved throughout the levels only after evaluations have been performed and the teachers recommend a child for promotion.

Private and Supplemental Training is a key part of a ballet dancer's development.

Offered for ages seven and up, private lessons provide an opportunity for significant growth outside of the class environment.
Students who have been selected to compete are required to take a minimum of one private lesson per week.
Additionally APDA offers supplemental training for small groups of six students or less.
These are meant for students at the same training level and offer the opportunity to work on skills and technique in a smaller environment.
