Services
Miller Street Dance Academy was founded in 1994 with the aim of providing quality, tasteful dance instruction in a positive environment.
Our goal is to cultivate young dancers into well-rounded individuals, who have not only an appreciation for dance, but who reach for high achievement in academics and community service as well.
Our instruction is diverse, age-appropriate, genuine and fun in order to make sure each and every one of our students are well versed in various genres of dance.
Equally important to dance technique, we strive to instill life skills like treating yourself and others with respect, how to be part of a team, and the importance of community service.
We feel that a mixture of strong dance technique, good grades and service to our community will build a well rounded, engaged child with a good sense of self-esteem.
We realize that while a small percentage of our students will make dance their career, all will become citizens of our society.
We believe it's important to recognize the scholastic achievement of our dancing students.
By turning in their report cards with all A's, or all A's and B's, students are then recognized the last week of classes with an award for their efforts!
Combo classes will perform both tap and ballet numbers in the recital but will have only one costume.
The exception is the 2.5-3.5 combo which will perform only a ballet number.
Students enrolled in multiple levels of ballet classes may have more than one recital costume.
Therefore, more than one costume fee may be applied to the account.
Mommy & Me, Pre-Pointe, and Tumbling classes do not participate in the recital and will not have a costume charge.
Male dancers in co-ed classes will not have a costume ordered or billed.
We have been a leader in dance education for over twenty five years.
Our highly successful competition team members have won top awards throughout the region and across the nation!
By starting with the best dance instructors available, offering leading edge choreography, providing excellent practice facilities, developing clear communication processes for the team families, and encouraging the team members to be their best, Miller Street has created an environment unmatched in our region!
Aidan Conway is a 6th grader at Cuthbertson Middle School.
Ages 3-8 Dance camps are four days long - Monday through Thursday from 9am - 12:30pm -and include a variety of activities.
A little bit of everything and a whole lot of fun! Campers will be divided by age for various activities.
The first day of camp the children will be put into groups as they arrive.
The children naturally gravitate towards an age-appropriate setting, and friends and siblings may choose if they would like to be in the same group!
Registration is online.
