Sac Dance Lab is Sacramento's leader in commercial dance training including styles like hip hop, heels, jazz, contemporary and jazz funk dance classes from beginning to advanced levels. With a focus on industry styles and professional dance advocacy, Sac Dance Lab is a unique, boundless place to train for aspiring and professional dancers, while welcoming non-professional enthusiasts.
Our classes are taught by dance industry leaders including NFL, NBA and commercial choreographers from around the nation. Isela Perez is the owner of Sac Dance Lab and has over 20 years of choreography and performance experience including various commercial work and five seasons as a Sacramento Kings Dancer.
She is currently a Co-director and lead choreographer of Sac Dance Company, which she founded in 2017.

Please note, dancers must cancel classes 24 hours in advance of the class to be able to use the credit for a future class.

The ACADEMY is our seasonal TEEN dance company!
We're looking for the top dancers in the area versed in hip hop, jazz funk and contemporary.
Shows include community performances and participating in the summer showcase.
STARBURSTS are our tiny-but-might youth hip hop team!
We work with dancers 18+ with significant dance experience in styles including ballet, hip hop, jazz, and heels.
Next season's company will hold auditions in August!

Although there are directors to lead the group, each dancer should be viewed as equal contributors with a voice.

In addition to performing in our Halloween showcase, the teen company will perform at outdoor summer events, shoot concept videos and represent the young commercial dance talent in our city.
Versatile dancers skilled in hip hop, jazz and jazz funk are desired.
Our goal is to work with serious young dancers eager to train and grow in a positive, structured environment!
