BODYTRAFFIC uses the creative spirit of its Los Angeles home to fulfill its mission of delivering performances that inspire audiences simply to love dance. Since its founding in 2007 by Lillian Rose Barebeito and Artistic Director Tina Finkelman Berkett, BODYTRAFFIC has held its place at the forefront of the concert dance world with a compelling style that "suggests invention, attitude, and urban edge" (The Boston Globe).

The company's extensive outreach and education programs reflect its commitment to ensuring that dance endures for both the artists and the audiences of the next generation. Touching lives in Los Angeles and beyond, the company provides training opportunities for pre-professional and professional dancers, as well as customized dance experiences that introduce the art form to underserved and diverse populations regardless of age, gender, or race.

BODYTRAFFIC's skilled dancers received their training at some of the most esteemed schools throughout the world, and its enviable repertory includes the works of renowned contemporary choreographers like Kyle Abraham, Ohad Naharin, Arthur Pita, Matthew Neenan, Fernando Magadan, and Micaela Taylor.
