Enrollment is open and ongoing throughout the year! We are a premiere dance academy thats sole purpose is to bring the highest quality of dance education to all that seek to learn and grow. Please call us at (626) 284-6277 to schedule a visit and/or schedule a free trial class.

In light of the way the world must function for now, and in thinking about how to best approach the challenge of Fall Session at SMDA, we are working to create a way in which all of our students can participate meaningfully in this shared love they have for dancing, and create program options for families that suit their needs. Our goal for this year is to help each dancer develop her/his personal technical and artistic depth as dancers.

Although this upcoming year will look quite different than the last, we are anticipating a year of resourceful changes, innovation and happy dancing at our school. We have made necessary changes to our traditional schedule and calendar so that we can provide as much optional in-studio time per dancer and continue to provide the high quality of training that is the hallmark of SMDA.
Services
San Marino Dance Academy has been formed to give dedicated and talented dancers the opportunity to grow as artists and performers of dance.
The companies are structured with progressive levels of ability and offer numerous performance opportunities throughout the year.
All students in the SMDA Company must take the following classes: Ballet, Turns & Jumps, Contemporary, Company Rehearsal/Technique.
For new students we require a one-time $40.00 registration fee that must be paid before signing up for classes.
A trial class may be taken without required registration, but if you decide to continue the class registration is necessary.
Pre - registration will be taken prior to the start of each session.
A non-refundable deposit of $55.00 will be taken to reserve a space in the class.
The deposit will be credited towards your class fees.
A big part of the dance training process includes learning through performance.
The experience helps build self-esteem, self-assurance, and contributes to a sense of confidence.
Although performance opportunities can help prepare some students for a possible career in dance, they also contribute to children's success in non-dance activities.
That onstage experience can result in better school presentations, improved social skills, and strong interview skills for future college or job opportunities.
The Children's Program at San Marino Dance Academy follows a developmentally and cognitively sound curriculum beginning at the age of 3 and building to age 8. Children develop at individual rates, thus abilities and talents in early childhood are extremely varied.
Our curriculum consists of a sequential program that is appropriate to children's ages and developmental needs.
Classes build student's confidence, understanding and appreciation for their bodies, as well as love for movement and dance.
