Nartan Rang Dance Academy has been a staple in New York for over 30 years teaching Bollywood, folk, and semi-classical styles. Founded by choreographer Swati Vaishnav, the school teaches Indian dance classes in New Hyde Park and Hicksville, Long Island. The school is comprised of over 100 students (aged 6 - 60) and continues to see exponential growth year after year. Nartan Rang has not only trained its students to become exemplary dancers, it has cultivated friendships, artistic expression, and a deep sense of connection to the Indian culture and heritage.
The school is unique in its Graduation Program where students who have been learning for at least 5 consecutive years and have completed their curriculum in Folk, Semi-Classical, and Bollywood, as well as an apprenticeship in their 5th year, are given the opportunity to a solo, self-choreographed performance, a group graduation performance, and earn a certificate of graduation from the academy.

Our classes at the Christ Lutheran Church are located at 300 Hillside Drive South, New Hyde Park, NY 11040.
It is directly off of Hillside Avenue in New Hyde Park.
We offer private lessons for individuals who need us to accommodate their personal schedules.
We also choreograph and teach for solo/group performances, weddings, fundraisers, and other milestones.
