My business is to teach you how to dance. Dancing can rekindle the romance in couples and connect the mind, body and soul through movement. Dancing is great for exercise and improved appearance and to stand out in a crowd. My mission is to make it easy, fun and affordable for all. I am a certified and insured dance instructor with 30 years of dance experience and 16 years of teaching experience.
I began my dance training at 10 years old as a classical ballet dancer for 9 years. I performed in many productions of which my favorite and most challenging role was "little swans" from Swan Lake with the Chico Community Ballet Company. The love of artistic movement combined with rigorous athleticism from ballet led me straight into the exciting and demanding world of ballroom dancing.
I pursued competitive dance sport for many years earning spots in semi-finals and final rounds of professional American smooth dancing. The reason I dance is for artistic and athletic freedom and challenge. Whether I stand out or fit into a crowd, this is what I love and what I was born to do.
