Our award winning dance curriculum builds confidence, coordination, listening skills, motor skills and so much more. The goal in our studio is for the children to love dance. We have a 3 step proven curriculum that starts at age 2 and completes at age 5 or 6 depending upon each child's ability. This will prepare them for our LEAP Academy which starts at age 5.

Freckled Frog Dance Studio is a family owned studio and is built on the foundation that all children should feel free to experience the joy of dance in a FUN and nurturing environment.
Parents should also be able to experience this joy with their children, that is why between the ages of 2 to 5 years we do not put a wall between you and your child.
In society today so much pressure is put on children at early ages to be great and excel at every thing they do.

Our LEAP Academy is for our dancers who age out of the Freckled Frog program.
LEAP Academy dancers have choices to take hour length classes in many forms of dance from ballet, jazz, tap, acrobatic arts, and hip hop.
We want children to be well rounded dancers and enjoy multiple styles of dance so we offer discounts on multiple classes.
LEAP Academy is where children can dance recreationally or if they'd like, try out for our competition teams and take their dance to the next level.
LEAP Classes start at age 5.

It is a combination of several styles of dance and uses the foundation steps of ballet in a more stylized manner.
In classes students will work on jazz fundamentals such as turns, leaps, and flexibility.
They will work on pieces to perform at recitals and can work their way up to auditioning for our jazz competition teams.
Dress code for jazz classes is clothing that the student can move freely in and jazz shoes.

Hip-hop dance refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture.
Students work weekly with Miss Traci to learn about moving their body to the beat of the music.
They work on pieces week after week to perform at our semi-annual recitals.
