Kathy trained & taught for several years with large, franchised dance studios. She has earned the title of Master teacher. Opening her own studio in 1984, Kathy designed her studio the way she would want it to be if she were a dance student. A beautiful, comfortable & relaxed atmosphere with reasonable rates & no sales pressure or contracts. Most importantly, New Energy offers patient instruction from an expert instructor.
Kathy was inducted into the California Swing Dance Hall of Fame with a gold metal in 2010. She has served on the Board of Directors for over seventeen years. Unless the guy is lucky enough to be taught by a parent or sister or have an ethnic background that exposes him to dance, he thinks he can't dance.
