Niosha Dance Academy is a premiere institution for traditional and contemporary dance from the Persian cultural diaspora. Besides our regular schedule, we also frequently host visiting teachers and dance instructors. Niosha Dance Academy offers a variety of offerings online in a range of traditional Persian and contemporary styles, belly dance, as well as fitness classes, yoga, and meditation.
We provide a platform for aspiring talent and individuals of all skill levels to receive structured training. Nafiseh teaches alongside Sherry in Niosha Dance Academy Zumba & Sculpt classes, focusing on teaching modified variations of moves to assist students in a comfortable and motivational environment.
Kimia has been active in the academy (performing/teaching) for 20+ years and does not plan to stop.
She began dancing at age three with jazz and ballet.
She then joined NDA a year later, and has loved it ever since.
