Enriching and cultivating young talents through systematic training to advance, respect and admire the rich culture and beauty of two outstanding classical art forms, Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam, with a pure blend of Kalamandalam and Kalakshetra style. Our mission is to inculcate an understanding and appreciation for the art and culture of South India and showcase these wonderful art forms to the community.

Bharatanatyam, a South Indian dance form, has been one of the oldest and richest classical dance forms of India. Its antiquity lies about 3000 years ago with a mythological as well as a historical origin. The evolution of Indian culture can be depicted through the movement and lyrics of dance and its music. Bha -Bhava, emotion, Ra -raga, melody, Ta -Tala, rhythm are the three fundamentals of Bharatanatyam.

Abhinaya is the emoting aspect of the dance and Nritta includes purely feet & hand movements. Mohiniyattam, "dance of the enchantress", is one of the most lyrical classical dance traditions, originating from Kerala, the land of palm trees, backwaters, Kathakali and Koodiyattam, and innumerable folk arts and festivals; that is God's own land.
