Men, women, boys, girls, couples, groups, and individuals; everyone has a place at Dana's Dance Academy. We offer an enriching experience from basic conditioning to polished skills in all forms of classic and modern dance. Come to explore dance for personal enjoyment or career building knowledge.

DDA follows the IISD winter and spring holiday closure dates as well as Memorial and Labor Day.

The Annual Performance is in June.

The Following Classes Will Include Technique, Terminology, History, Combinations, and/or Variations in the Class.
BALLET: is the basis for all dance.
It should be studied with the other forms of dance.
All classical styles are introduced.

Dana Davis-Bailey is the owner and artistic director of Dana's Dance Academy.
Many of her students are performing on Broadway, in California and Las Vegas.
While attending MacArthur High School, Dana was a Cardette officer and later went on to become a Rangerette Lieutenant at Kilgore College.
Ms. Davis-Bailey also provides her talents of choreography and movement to many of the Irving schools including Bowie, MacArthur and Irving High.
Dana danced professionally with the Dallas Ballet Company and the Irving Ballet Company.

The location at 414 S. O'Connor Road, consists of three structures.
These three buildings were originally a chapel, rectory, and fellowship hall.
The beauty of the hardwood floors, towering ceilings, and stained glass windows are ideal for private parties and functions.
The original chapel serves as Academy I. Its hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, and stained glass windows provide a beautiful setting and can accommodate up to approximately 30 people.
